Repair of water leakage of metal steel roof and Prolonged Building life.
Metal steel roofs mainly used in factories are generally galvalume steel plates or color iron plates (2 coat 2baked painted on zinc coated steel sheet). Since the base material is iron, this coating material will determine the life span of the roofing material. Normally, 5 years for color steel plate and 10 years for galvalume steel plate, there is rust due to deterioration of coating surface. If the base metal is damaged, it will be difficult to repair it with reinforcing materials, and the entire roof will need to be replaced. The cost impact of non-construction such as shutting down the production line due to roofing replacement work will also increase.
In recent years, Thailand has also encountered serious air pollution problems. Meanwhile, GKP renews the roof and outer wall and promises a maximum warranty period of 10 years again. Why not come back and revive your factory at low cost?
1. Painting repair with elastic paint
Places that are prone to leaks, such as ridges, gables, eaves, openings, drainage, etc., are reinforced with butyl tape, etc., and coated entirely with elastic paint. It is important to carry out appropriate surface tretment, which is the key to painting. GKP cleans with high-pressure water to completely remove aging dust and stains, apply rust-preventive coating, and if necessary, reinforce the backing plate with the same material as the roof to secure a sound base and paint.



2. Fully waterproof with non-vulcanized butyl rubber sheet (SANTAC ROOF SYSTEM)
As with painting, complete sureface tretment is performed, and the entire surface is covered with a rubber sheet with a special adhesive for steel plates. As a characteristic of non-vulcanized rubber, it has the property of homogenizing the wrap part, and there is almost no displacement or peeling due to aging. Similar to paint repair, rusted and weakened parts are reinforced by same material as roof sheet and then covered by rubber sheet waterproofed.

3. FRP lining, PU lining,
As with steel roof coating, complete groundwork and FRP lining are performed. In the case of the roof surface, it will basically be a glass mat × 1, a surface mat × 1 + 1 mm of polyester resin. We will remove the deteriorated waterproof layer, repair cracks, etc., and thoroughly crush the cause of water leakage before lining.
